Can I see Art by Rosaida in real life?I occasionally exhibit my work - information about these events are posted to my socials. If you're in the area of Gouda and you really want to see something in person, please email me at rosaida.brahim@gmail.com and we can set up a meeting.
-
Where are you based?I currently reside in Gouda, the Netherlands. I do all of my screen printing at Mesh Print Club in Rotterdam.
-
Why does my purchase look different from the photo? Many people associate the word 'prints' with identical reproductions, but the printing techniques I use are not done with a machine; all my pieces are handmade. I closely inspect each work to filter out the printing imperfections and then number each piece in the series. The result is a collection of original pieces with subtle, natural variations, making each one unique and special. I strive to photograph each artwork as accurately as possible, but please note that colors may vary slightly across different screens. If you have any concerns about your print, feel free to contact me via email.
-
How is it shipped and where do you ship to?Every order is sent within seven working days. My prints are sent flat - meaning I don't roll them and put them in a protective tube - as for most works the paper I use is simply too thick. Sending my prints flat carries more risk, but I take as many precautions as possible to ensure the prints arrive at their destination safely. If your print has arrived damaged, please document it and contact rosaida.brahim@gmail.com. You will receive a track & trace code, and will have to give a signature upon receiving your print. Orders to Europe are paid for and sent through this site. If you live outside of Europe but you wish to purchase a print, please send an inquiry to rosaida.brahim@gmail.com so we can find the best shipping options for you. You will be sent a private invoice.
-
What are the shipping costs? For orders within the EU: At this moment packages are sent using PostNL. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and include packaging costs. For orders outside of the EU: Please send an inquiry to rosaida.brahim@gmail.com in order to receive a private invoice.
-
Can I track my order?Yes, a track and trace will be provided.
-
Can I return my print? Each print is handmade and one-of-a-kind. Due to their delicate nature, returns are not accepted, so please choose thoughtfully. If your piece arrives damaged, please document the issue and contact me at rosaida.brahim@gmail.com for assistance.

How sustainable is Art by Rosaida?I have come to realize that it is impossible to make completely sustainable art. That being said, I’m always looking to make it as sustainable as possible: Inks: for screenprinting I use SICO Water Based Screen Inks for paper; for painting I use Cobra Water Mixable Oil Inks; for my linocuts I use Cranfield’s Caligo Water-Based Relief Inks. Paper: I use high quality, archival paper for my prints. I try to re-use as much as possible; if there are any scraps left over, I will try to find other ways to use them. A lot of my tester prints, for example, are cut up to maker registration marks for new pieces! The art industry is always changing in regards to materials and practices. It’s a lot better now than it was twenty years ago, and in twenty years time it will be a lot better than it is now. If you have any tips or tricks you’d like to share so that my materials and practices can keep up with this change, please let me know!

DisclaimerIf your newly acquired artwork looks a little different from the photos, that’s because every piece is handmade. Even with all the love, time, and effort I put into every print, I am not a machine. I would not have put this print up for sale if I did not think it was reflective of my work, but if you think something has gone wrong, please contact me. All pictures on the website artbyrosaida.com are and will remain property of artbyrosaida.com.
